Rainy Season Readiness Checklist
- Inspect ceiling, walls and floors: Any water damage could be indicative of tilt up joints, deck and/or roof leaks.
- Properly secure all doors and windows and look for cracked or peeling sealants: This could be an indication of waterproofing system failures.
- Check property for concrete erosion.
- Monitor spots where landscape meets your building: Look for any water collecting or look for areas where the window systems are lower than the surrounding landscaping.
- Ensure that the landscapers are trimming vegetation that is adjacent to your building: Eliminate branches that can be weighted down with water or strike your property.
- Inspect the roof: Look for loose or damaged roofing material.
